REPAIRS

Your Elke Van Dyke jewelry is meant to be enjoyed for a very long time. But even though jewelry is made of metal, it can be delicate and far from indestructible over time. I guarantee the quality of my jewelry, and you may return it for repair at any time.  Please check out the jewelry care guidelines to make sure you're taking steps to optimize the life of your jewelry.

To initiate a repair, please use the CONTACT page or email Info@ElkeVanDyke.com, and tell us what happened. A small repair charge may apply if a repair is needed due to excessive wear-and-tear. 

Please securely package the piece in a padded mailer or small box. Do not mail in a standard flat or cardboard envelope, the jewelry will most likely be further damaged in the mail. Any repairs that arrive in a flat envelope will not be opened, and will be returned to sender. Elke Van Dyke Design is not responsible for jewelry damaged or lost in transit; we strongly recommend adding delivery confirmation and/or insurance to the package. Please note that return shipping costs are not refundable. 

We'll fix your piece up good as new, and return it to you for many more years of happy wear!


Returns & Exchanges

All Elke Van Dyke Design jewelry is made by hand in New York City. The pieces you choose are made just for you, and I want you to feel great about your purchase! You may return any unworn items in original condition for exchange or return within 14 days of delivery. Please note, this does not apply to custom orders.

To initiate a return, email Info@ElkeVanDyke.com to notify if you'd like an exchange or refund. Please mail back the jewelry in its original gift box, and use a protective padded mailer or small box for shipping. Elke Van Dyke Design is not responsible for returned jewelry that is damaged or lost in transit; we please ask that you add a tracking number and/or insurance to your return package. Return shipping costs are not refundable. You will receive an email once your return has been processed, normally within two business days after jewelry is returned. 

Special orders are non-refundable.


SHIPPING

US SHIPPING 

All US orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and per USPS guidelines. This 1-3 day service includes tracking and merchandise insurance.

US OVERNIGHT SHIPPING: To upgrade to overnight shipping with USPS Priority Mail Express, please select the Shipping Upgrade listing in my shop for USPS Priority Mail Express (as per USPS guidelines). This 1 day service (2 days for some areas) include tracking, proof of delivery, and insurance. Sunday and Holiday delivery is available to many destinations for an additional charge.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All international orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail and per USPS guidelines. International delivery takes approximately 10-21 business days. I ship worldwide except where prohibited and restricted. Canada is $11.95. Everywhere else is $15.95. (if you are interested in International Express Shipping, I will send you an additional invoice for the extra shipping charge if you indicate in your order notes you would like to add insurance or upgrade to expedited shipping speed.)

CUSTOM FES: International buyers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, VAT, handling fees, import taxes and fees in their own country, if any. If you have any concerns with this, please contact your local customs office, as they will be able to provide you with the most accurate and current regulations.

GERNERAL SHIPPING INFO

LOST ORDERS: An order will not be considered "lost" until 45 days past day of shipping, in accordance to the US Postal Service

GIFT WRAPPING: All items are already shipped gift wrapped! If you would like to add a personal note, I'd be happy to include that free of charge. Also, if you wish to send your purchased items directly to the recipient, simply put down their address in the note box in the transaction.

TURNAROUND TIME: Because Elke Van Dyke Design jewelry is handmade, please allow up to two weeks for your jewelry to leave the studio and ship out to you. However, some pieces take less time and can be shipped within 3-5 business days. If you need your jewelry on a deadline, please be sure to fill out your deadline date in the box provided during check out.
